1. Love for Long Island.

A shared love for Long Island and the people who live here is the very reason that Lighthouse was born. We came together as a team because we love it here, we love the people, we choose to raise our families here, and we understand our culture. We long to see our beautiful Island and the people who live here transformed by the Gospel.

2. Building Real Community

We believe that a gracious, gospel-centered community is the best environment for life transformation. Therefore, our goal is to create environments where people are allowed to believe at their own pace and experience the transforming power of the gospel working in community. We understand that God’s people experience His grace through each another. Therefore, we strive to create environments where we will experience meaningful relationships with each other wherever and whenever we may gather.

3. Living Out Our Mission

We understand that not only does the Gospel provide forgiveness of sin, it also is the means of restoration in a wounded world. God’s people are therefore not only saved from God’s judgment, but are also saved into a mission. Being a believer means that we have been given new purpose and meaning in life. Our mission is to join God in His plan to bring forgiveness and restoration to the world. Whether we are gathering for worship or serving a homeless shelter, everything we do has in its core purpose to live out our gospel mission.
